Chocolate + Wine Tasting: at Cherry Creek Cellars
We have partnered with Cherry Creek Cellars for an after-hour chocolate and wine tasting. Sit back, and learn about the similarities between the harvesting of wine and chocolate, while sipping on different wine selections from Cherry Creek. As we sip, we will dive into chocolate making - where it first starts: at the cocoa tree in far away lands, all the way to the final chocolate products that we make locally right here in Michigan.
Travel Through Chocolate + Wine at Cherry Creek Cellars
Join us for an immersive evening as we taste our way through bean to bar chocolate made from different single origins from around the world, tasting the different flavor profiles with each bite. We will taste chocolate made from cocoa beans sourced from:
- The Cenote Lake of Guatemala. Flavor Profile: Bright and Fruity
- The Cayapas River in Ecuador. Flavor Profile: Nutty and Rich
- Through the lands of Pisa Haiti. Flavor Profile: Jammy and Smooth
- and over to the tropical farmlands of Ghana - Flavor Profile: Rich and Fudgy
In addition, we will sample a variety of wines from Cherry Creek Cellars, and hear the stories that both chocolate and coffee have to tell.
Change The Way You Think About Chocolate + Wine
Just like wine, chocolate can taste different based on its location, terroir, and harvesting practices. Neither chocolate nor wine are one dimensional in flavor, and you will experience that first hand as we taste chocolate made from cocoa beans that are naturally fruity, nutty, earthy, and everywhere in between, alongside special selections of Cherry Creek Wines.
Hosted by Cherry Creek Cellars at their beautiful tasting room located at
11500 Silver Lake Hwy. Brooklyn, MI 49230.
