Burlap sacks used to transport cocoa beans from origin to our chocolate shop. Each one carries the markings, wear, and story of real bean-to-bar chocolate.
Burlap Sacks, Straight From the Chocolate Process
These burlap sacks carried the cocoa beans we use to make chocolate right here in our shop.
Before roasting, grinding, and turning into chocolate bars, the beans arrive packed in these. They travel from farms and exporters in Ecuador and Uganda, and these bags are part of that journey.
They’re not decorative reproductions. These are the actual sacks used in the supply chain behind bean-to-bar chocolate.
A Piece of What We Do
If you’ve ever been in the shop and caught that smell of chocolate in the air, this is where it starts.
We take the beans out of these bags, roast them, crack them, and turn them into chocolate from scratch. These sacks are one of the first steps in that process.
Most people never get to see this part.
How People Use Them
These burlap cocoa bean sacks are often used for:
- Wall hangings or framed textile art
- Coffee shop, bakery, or retail displays
- Rustic home decor
- Garden use like lining beds or planters
- DIY projects like pillows or storage
What to Expect
These are used burlap sacks and will show natural wear from transport and handling. Expect creases, fraying, and markings from their journey from origin to our shop.
No two are exactly the same.
Take home a piece of where chocolate begins. We only have a limited number available, and each one is one of a kind.
